Conscious Hotel Westerpark is one of the 100 World’s Greatest Places of TIME Magazine’ list of 2018!   

Conscious Hotel Westerpark is the fourth sustainable design hotel which I designed for Conscious Hotels and is the first hotel in the Netherlands to be 100% electric.

The building used to house the offices, workshops and district office of the Westergasfabriek (former coal gas factories at the end of the 19th century), which was the starting point for our design concept (’From Gas to Green’).

The interior was designed using mainly eco-friendly materials and finishes, combined with re-purposed materials and furnishings.
